How can we help?
Answers to the questions we hear most. Can't find what you need? Our team is one message away.
Getting started
How do I create an account?
Sign up from the Get started button, pick a plan (or start a free trial), and confirm your email. You can add clients and send your first assessment within minutes — no setup call required.
Do my clients need an account?
No. Clients receive a private, single-use link by email or SMS and complete the assessment in their browser. Nothing is installed and no login is needed on their side.
Which instruments can I use?
Every public-domain and open-license instrument in our catalog is available immediately. Proprietary instruments become available as we sign agreements with their publishers — browse the catalog to see what is live today and what is on the roadmap.
Sending & taking assessments
How are assessments delivered?
From a client record you choose an instrument and send a secure link. The respondent answers one question at a time, and results are scored automatically the moment they submit.
How long is an assessment link valid?
Links expire after a configurable window and are single-use, so a completed or expired link cannot be reused. You can re-send or schedule a re-take at any time.
What happens when a result raises a risk flag?
Risk items (for example PHQ-9 item 9 or EPDS item 10) trigger an immediate alert to the administering clinician and appear on your risk dashboard so they can be reviewed and actioned the same day.
Billing & plans
Can I change plans or pay annually?
Yes. Plans can be upgraded, downgraded, or switched to annual billing at any time from your account. Annual billing is discounted versus paying monthly.
What are AI sessions and assessment credits?
AI-assisted notes and the clinical assistant are metered per month by plan. If you need more, you can top up with add-on packs (extra AI sessions, extra assessments, or extra seats) without changing your base plan.
Do you offer a demo?
Yes — request a demo from the contact page and we will set you up with a guided demo environment so you can try the full workflow with sample data.
Data, privacy & compliance
Where is my data stored?
Data is stored in the region you choose (US, EU, or Australia) to support data-residency requirements. We are built to HIPAA, GDPR, and Australian APP standards.
Who can see client responses?
Responses are private to your practice and visible only to authorised members. Access is role-based and every access is recorded in an immutable audit log.
Is this a crisis service?
No. Psyche Assess is a clinical tool, not a crisis line. If a client is in immediate danger they should contact local emergency services.
